About the Project
Blue Monkeys in Space is the legal entity behind Bodymod, a worldwide shop for piercing jewellery. Despite already having their website operational through a recruitment software platform, the company recognised the need to enhance its appearance to better align with the company's branding.
My tasks involved designing and constructing a website on the CMS career site, utilising custom HTML & CSS. This included everything from crafting sections to fine-tuning the default CSS provided by the hosting platform to ensure it harmonised with the company's visual identity.
Approach
The decision was made to populate the website with authentic photos of employees in action, providing users with an immediate sense of the company upon their arrival to the site.
To make the site more dynamic without relying on JavaScript, it was decided to use widescreen videos as backgrounds.

Responsiveness
Optimising website responsiveness to ensure flawless display across different devices.
I utilised CSS Flexbox properties together with CSS media queries to create a responsive layout that dynamically adapts based on the screen size.
Scalability
To ensure scalability in design, each section was saved as a template. This approach allows stakeholders to add new sections and update existing ones as required.
